Speech And Language Therapist.

We are currently recruiting a Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join the Adult Primary Care Team based in South Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team providing high-quality assessment and intervention for adults with communication, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders across community and primary care settings.

The Role

As a Senior Speech & Language Therapist, you will

Assess, diagnose, and manage adults presenting with communication, cognitive-communication, voice, and dysphagia disorders. Deliver evidence-based interventions in clinic, home, residential, and community settings. Work collaboratively with GPs, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Public Health Nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to junior staff and students. Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary case management. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HSE standards.

Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist

Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy. CORU registration. A minimum of three years’ post-qualification clinical experience. Experience working with adult clients, including dysphagia management. Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills. Full driver’s licence and access to a car is desirable.
