About this role
Red Chair Recruitment is hiring a Warehouse and Stores Supervisor for a well established business in the Killarney area. This is a role for someone who wants to run the show rather than take instructions all day. You will take full ownership of the warehouse and stores, and the business will rely on you to know what is on the shelf, what is coming in, what has gone out and what needs ordering. What you will be doing Running the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and stores. Receiving deliveries, checking them against purchase orders and dealing directly with suppliers on shortages, damages and queries. Picking, packing and dispatching orders for customers. Keeping stock records accurate on the system, raising purchase orders, monitoring reorder levels and carrying out regular stock counts. Keeping the stores organised, safe and tidy, and working closely with the sales and workshop team so that stock is where it is needed when it is needed. What we are looking for Previous experience running or supervising a stores, parts department or warehouse. Confidence with stock management software and general computer literacy. Experience with Turbo Inventory or Big Red Cloud would be a real advantage, though training will be given to the right person. A practical, organised approach, good attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative without being chased. A forklift licence is an advantage. The site is a few kilometres outside Killarney town, so you will need your own transport. What is on offer A permanent, full time position with an established local employer. A salary of €35,000 to €39,000 depending on experience. Genuine ownership of the function rather than a narrow set of tasks. A small, direct team where your work is visible and appreciated. To apply Send your CV to Laura O’Gorman at [email protected] or call the office in Killarney on (0)64 66 22 007 for a confidential chat.
