The Role As the Welding Inspector, you’ll play a key role in ensuring all welding and fabrication work meets the highest quality and compliance standards. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you’ll help maintain exceptional workmanship across a range of stainless steel and carbon steel fabrication projects. Key Responsibilities Carry out visual inspections of welded fabrications. Ensure compliance with EN1090, approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and relevant welding standards. Review welding documentation, material certificates, and inspection records. Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions. Coordinate and support Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities where required. Maintain accurate inspection and traceability documentation. Support internal and external quality audits. Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Requirements CSWIP, IWI, or equivalent Welding Inspection qualification. Experience inspecting stainless steel and carbon steel fabrications. Strong understanding of EN1090 and welding quality standards. Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret weld symbols. Excellent attention to detail with strong communication and problem-solving skills. A proactive approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a production environment.
