Welding Inspector.

Our client based in Wexford is seeking a detail-oriented Welding Inspector to support quality assurance activities across fabrication and manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring welding and production activities comply with relevant industry standards, customer specifications, and internal quality procedures. This is a permanent, full-time, site-based position. Perform visual inspections of welded assemblies and fabricated components. Verify compliance with approved welding procedures and quality requirements. Review technical documentation, inspection records, and manufacturing specifications. Identify non-conformances and assist in implementing corrective actions. Support production teams in achieving quality and efficiency objectives. Coordinate inspection and testing activities where required. Maintain accurate quality records and traceability documentation. Assist with audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Promote quality, safety, and best practices throughout the workplace. Requirements Relevant welding inspection qualification or equivalent experience. Previous experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or engineering environment. Strong understanding of welding processes and quality standards. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Knowledge of inspection and testing methods. Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
