About the Role

Ensure compliance with and implementation of customer-specific work processes and procedures. Responsible for the effective coordination, progress chasing and management of all required communications specific to the day-to-day export of shipments, in line with customer requirements and contractual agreements in place.

Responsibilities

• Entry of shipments and processing of export orders
• Supporting and advising the customers and agents
• Preparation and monitoring of quotation offers
• Ensuring and processing billing to customers
• Processing of special orders, as well as complaints
• Preparation of delivery dockets, customs documents, etc.
• Monitoring appointments
• Documentation and optimisation of workflows
• Support of supervisors in projects
• Documentation and filing of files
• Performing general administrative tasks
• Execute all Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable).

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Air Exports within the local market and ideally some Sea Freight Forwarding experience.
• Strong knowledge of customs brokerage processes, regulations, and classification, valuation, and origin procedures.
• Familiarity with documentation processes for ocean, air, and road shipments.
• Certification in Dangerous Goods (DGR) is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, organised approach to work.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Fluent in English and eligible to work full-time and permanently onsite without visa restrictions.
