Senior Angular Developer

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Angular Developer to join our team working on the DQC Toolkit lineage management portal, a high-profile project supporting our Risk and Finance Technology function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior UI engineer who enjoys working on complex, business-critical applications and has a strong focus on stability, scalability and performance.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, Agile team, working closely with technology and business stakeholders to design, develop and deliver high-quality solutions that have a real impact across the organisation.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, enhance, debug, maintain and test software applications supporting key business and functional areas.
• Work as part of an Agile, team-based environment following SCRUM methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with Information Technology teams, business stakeholders and Front-Line Units (FLUs) throughout the design, development and implementation lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance, clarification and support on application and infrastructure changes and enhancements.
• Contribute to the architecture, design, development and implementation of complex applications, leveraging modern technologies and best practices.
• Develop robust, high-performing and maintainable front-end solutions for business-critical systems.
• Work with external development partners to coordinate and support the successful delivery of software applications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, application quality and team processes.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be an experienced front-end engineer with a strong track record of building and supporting high-quality enterprise applications.

Core skills and experience

• Strong commercial experience in front-end engineering , with expertise in a modern client-side technology stack.
• Advanced experience with Angular 17+ .
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript 5+, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS and RxJS .
• Proven experience developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) .
• Experience working on complex, business-critical applications where performance, reliability and maintainability are key.
• Comfortable working collaboratively within an Agile/SCRUM environment.
