Audit Assistant Manager.

GPC Finance has partnered with a Two Partner firm in Dublin, offering Audit and Accountancy, Tax Compliance, Insolvency Services, Payroll and Bookkeeping, Company Secretarial, Corporate Finance, Business Advisory and Business startup advice. Our client based in Dublin City Centre is looking to hire an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager.

The opportunity of Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager offers progression, challenging projects, and learning and development. Our client’s portfolio covers a wide industry base across a wide range of industries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing the team’s financial performance e.g. agreeing and billing of fees.
• Proactively manage client expectations and be a point-of-contact for clients.
• Manage a portfolio of clients of variable sizes across different industries.
• Lead teams on the planning; execution; and completion of audits.
• Provide technical auditing and accounting assistance to team members and clients.
• Participate in the coaching, mentoring and appraisal of staff.

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA Qualified.
• 2 years+ PQE.
• Knowledge of the ISA’s and accounting standards FRS 100 to FRS 102.
• Client-oriented with initiative, enthusiasm, and problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with maximum discretion.
• Excellent organisational skills, time management, and communication skills.
