Location: Co. Wicklow | Hybrid Salary: €80,000 – €90,000 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Opportunity

Our client is a leading manufacturer of packaging solutions, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager with at least 5 years’ experience to drive new business growth, secure strategic customers and build a strong commercial pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business across target markets.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and develop strategic customer accounts.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and contract award.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, forecasts and CRM records.
• Work closely with technical and operational teams to develop customer solutions and support new programmes.
• Identify market opportunities and contribute to commercial growth strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or technical sales, ideally in medical devices, injection moulding, engineering, or contract manufacturing.
• Full driving licence
• Proven track record of winning new business and securing customer contracts.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building and commercial skills.
• Experience managing the full sales cycle and developing a sales pipeline.
• Knowledge of regulated manufacturing environments would be an advantage.
