Looking for a Care Support Worker job in Shankill where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with disabilities? 3Q Recruitment is recruiting 10 Care Support Workers for residential disability services in Shankill, Co. Dublin. This opportunity could suit an experienced Care Support Worker, Disability Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, Carer or Care Assistant who is passionate about rights-based, person-centred care and supporting people to live as independently as possible. The Role As a Care Support Worker, you’ll support adults with physical, sensory and neurological disabilities within a residential setting. You’ll provide individualised support based on each person’s needs and personal plans, helping them with everyday life while promoting their independence, rights, dignity, choice and wellbeing. You’ll join a supportive team committed to high-quality, person-centred service delivery and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do

• Support individuals with all aspects of daily living and personal care.
• Promote independence, dignity, rights and personal choice.
• Support individuals in line with their evolving personal plans.
• Build positive relationships based on respect and equality.
• Encourage participation and independence in everyday life.
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the residential service.
• Deliver safe, high-quality and rights-based support.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

What You’ll Need You should

• Hold or be working towards QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support ; OR
• Hold a minimum QQI Level 6 Social Care or Nursing qualification.
• Have experience supporting people with disabilities.
• Hold or be working towards a full manual driving licence and be willing to drive for work.
• Be available to work across a 24-hour, seven-day roster .
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Have a good standard of written and spoken English.
• Be comfortable using computers; experience with online care management systems is an advantage.
• Demonstrate integrity, reliability and a positive attitude.
• Be committed to rights-based, person-centred support.
• Be eligible to work in Ireland.

Experienced in Care But Don’t Have QQI Level 5? You may still be eligible. Candidates with relevant care experience but without the qualification may be considered where they’re willing to complete QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support within 18 months of starting the role.
