About the Opportunity

We are recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) for a specialist mental health service in Dublin. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced psychiatric nurse leader to take responsibility for operational management, clinical excellence, staff development and regulatory compliance within a dynamic multidisciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing services to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care.
• Support service development and operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with national standards, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and support nursing staff, workforce planning and professional development.
• Collaborate with patients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary colleagues in care planning.
• Drive quality improvement and best practice initiatives.
• Participate in service planning and organisational development.

Requirements

• Registered Psychiatric Nurse with NMBI registration or eligibility to register.
• Minimum 5 years’ post qualification experience.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 or equivalent.
• Experience within acute mental health or hospital settings.
• Strong leadership, clinical governance and people management skills.
• Knowledge of Mental Health Commission standards and regulatory requirements.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence based practice.
