CNC Operator

Our Client in Co. Meath is currently seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join their team. This position operates on a rotating shift pattern covering morning and evening shifts.

Key Responsibili ties

Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers or similar) in line with production schedules.

Load materials and ensure correct tooling and machine parameters are in place prior to

operation.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical specifications accurately.

Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and

efficiency.

Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Carry out routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Maintain accurate production records and ensure traceability of manufactured components.

Work closely with supervisors and production teams to meet daily output targets.

Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work environment.

Experience, Skills Required

Proven experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.

Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

Experience with machine setup and tooling changes.

High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.

Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.

Basic computer literacy (experience with CAD viewing software or shop-floor systems

advantageous).
