CNC Programmer.

CNC Programmer/Manufacturing Technician

Our Client, a successful, growing, long established company is currently seeking a CNC Programmer/Manufacturing Technician to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Utilise CAD/CAM software (Sigmanest) to generate toolpaths for CNC machines

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical specifications

Create CNC nesting and promptly issue to the floor

Create saw cut lists for the workshop floor from engineering drawings issued to production.

Print and issue workshop drawings to the production floor

Collaborate with production teams to optimise machining processes and improve efficiency

Prepare and issue production lists and ensure material requisitions are completed accurately and on time.

Record keeping and data input, ensuring the traceability of all products manufactured

Key Attributes

CAD/CAM proficiency – Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software (Sigmanest, ProNest, Alphacam or similar).

CNC Experience – A background in setting up, programming and operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers etc.

Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical documents.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous.
