Our client based in North Wicklow is seeking an experienced CNC programmer / Machining Operative. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing company based in North Wicklow and develop your skills in a supportive, structured environment. Salary: €33k – €34k Location: North Wicklow Hours: 8:00am- 4:15pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
Setting up and running CNC Lathe and Milling machines. Writing and running programmes from 2D technical drawings. Performing quality control checks using ring gauges, plug gauges, micrometers and Vernier callipers. Operating manual tool grinders. Meeting production targets and maintaining ISO documentation standards. Deburring and inspection of finished products. Supporting the Machining Supervisor and working flexibly across production machines.
Requirements
Some experience in CNC machining — whether through work, training or apprenticeship. Basic knowledge of G-code is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Fluent English. A can-do attitude, good team player, ability to work to tight deadlines. Willingness to work overtime occasionally (mainly weekends).
