Conference & Banqueting Manager.

Red Chair Recruitment are recruiting a Conference & Banqueting Manager for one of our clients, a busy and well-established hotel based in Meath. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced C&B professional to join a strong management team and play a key role in the continued development of the hotel’s conference and events business. The hotel hosts a busy programme of events, including music events, with further investment planned for the conference and events offering. This is a full-time, permanent position. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day Conference & Banqueting operation, ensuring high service standards. Lead, motivate and develop the C&B team to deliver excellent guest experiences. Plan and coordinate conferences, meetings, functions and events from enquiry through to completion. Work closely with the Deputy General Manager and wider management team to ensure smooth operations. Manage event set-ups, service standards, staffing and operational requirements. Build strong relationships with corporate clients, event organisers and key stakeholders. Monitor budgets, revenue and costs to maximise commercial performance. Identify opportunities to grow the conference and events business. Support the planning and implementation of future investment and improvements within the C&B operation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing and hotel standards. Requirements Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Conference & Banqueting or Events Management role within a hotel. Strong conference and corporate events experience is essential. Proven experience managing busy events and leading teams. Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills. Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with large-scale events or entertainment events is desirable. Salary: €45,000 – €60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
