About this role

Working with a leading US Plc, which has significant capital to actively acquire businesses in line with it’s 5-year strategic plan. The Corporate Finance Executive role sits in a team of 5 people in the Corporate Finance team and will play a key role in performing financial analysis and developing financial valuation models to support M&As and strategic investments of the Group. Other responsibilities: Ensure financial models reflect the commercial objectives of the M&A and strategic investment opportunities Develop and maintain tools for first-cut financial analysis and evaluation of opportunities (e.g., valuation templates) Undertake market analysis and/or liaise with local markets to provide input into assessing any anti-competitive implications for a potential M&A opportunity Perform due diligence on targets’ historical financial and accounting records to; confirm the accuracy of the financial information provided for the business valuation, identify hidden contingencies, commitments, and tax exposures, as well as quality of assets and internal control structure where relevant Identify potential financial issues related to the transaction and in the transitory/integration phases Undertake other duties and tasks as requested

Requirements
