Financial Controller required in County Donegal- commutable from Letterkenny (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent 3D Personnel are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing business in the North West to recruit an experienced Financial Controller. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this is a key appointment within the organisation and an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a successful business for their next chapter of growth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the finance function, supporting strategic decision-making, driving process improvements, and providing valuable commercial insight to the wider business. Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to support business decisions
• Managing cash flow and working capital requirements
• Ensuring all tax and statutory compliance obligations are met
• Overseeing and developing the internal team
• Identifying and implementing process improvements across the finance function
• Supporting business growth initiatives and commercial projects
• Liaising with auditors, banks, and external advisors
• Maintaining robust financial controls and governance procedures
• Providing financial analysis and performance reporting to senior management
• Undertaking additional ad hoc projects and duties as required

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Previous substantial experience (ideally 10 years +) in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or Senior Management Accounting role
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence decision-making
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working within a fast-paced commercial environment would be advantageous
