Finishing Operator.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a print finishing, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Ability to operate finishing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work to production targets and deadlines.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate finishing equipment such as cutters, guillotines, laminators, folders, binders, die-cutters, and packaging machines.
• Review work orders and finishing specifications before commencing production.
• Set up and adjust machinery for different finishing processes.
• Trim, cut, laminate, fold, bind, assemble, and package products as required.
• Conduct quality inspections during and after finishing operations.
• Identify and report product defects or production issues.
• Prepare finished products for storage or dispatch.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Accurately record production data and completed work.
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures.
