Our client, based in Co. Wexford, is seeking a skilled and motivated Fitter/Fabricator to join their maintenance team. This is a varied, hands-on role working across agricultural machinery, production equipment, vehicles and site infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining equipment, carrying out fabrication work and supporting the smooth running of operations. Wexford Salary: €42k – €50k Key Responsibilities Fabrication and welding of steel components and machinery. Carry out the maintenance, repair and installation of mechanical equipment. Diagnose and repair faults on agricultural and production equipment. Carry out planned preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime. Repair trailers, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic systems and other mechanical equipment. Assist with machinery upgrades, fabrication projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Complete maintenance records accurately. Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment. Work safely and comply with all Health & Safety procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a Fitter, Fabricator, Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Technician. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Strong welding and fabrication skills, including MIG, TIG and Arc welding. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full, clean driving licence. Good communication skills.
