Front of House Team Member - part time.

We are looking for an experienced Front of House staff member for Vada, a Michelin guide restaurant in Stoneybatter. We are open Wednesday - Sunday, The role would be approx 20 hours per week. This position is for those that are passionate about the hospitality industry. The position will avail of a generous portion of tips. Great opportunity to grow with establishment. Responsibilities; - Provide a warm, sophisticated welcome to all guests; manage seating efficiently to ensure a seamless transition into the dining experience. - Possess a foundational understanding of our seasonal menu and daily specials to assist guests with food and drink choices. - Deliver orders with precision and poise, maintaining an unobtrusive presence while remaining highly attentive to guest needs. - Uphold impeccable table standards throughout the service, ensuring every guest interaction reflects our Michelin-guide aspirations. - Utilise the Square POS system for accurate order entry and payment processing [Note: Training on Square and OpenTable will be overseen by the Assistant Manager]. - Diligently execute the restaurant's zero-waste protocols, from sorting recyclables to minimising water and paper usage during service. - Maintain clear, proactive communication with the Kitchen and FOH Supervisor and managers to ensure timing and dietary requirements are handled perfectly. Requirements; - Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers and ensure mutual satisfaction - Working knowledge of cash register and any ordering information system (Training provided) - Outstanding people skills - Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving - Food safety training a plus
