Healthcare Assistant – Galway

Location: Oranmore, Galway Pay Rate: €14.15–€20 per hour, with enhanced night rates and premium Sunday rates.

Access Healthcare is currently looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant with experience in nursing home and intellectual disability settings.

This is a great opportunity for a caring and reliable Healthcare Assistant with previous experience in the Irish healthcare sector who is looking for regular, ongoing work.

We are looking for someone who is confident working in a busy care environment and committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents and service users.

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 qualification.
• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in an Irish healthcare setting is essential.
• Experience in nursing home and/or intellectual disability settings is highly desirable.
• Experience providing personal care and supporting residents or service users with complex care needs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, professional, and reliable approach to care.
• Availability to work both day and night shifts.
• A strong commitment to person-centred care.
