Position: Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Agency Role Location: County Laois and surrounding areas Pay: Competitive hourly pay, paid weekly Contract: Flexible agency shifts (days, nights, weekends)

As an Healthcare Assistant with Access Healthcare, you’ll support various ID clients throughout Laois, working in residential and community-based services.

Key Duties

• Provide compassionate personal care and daily living support
• Assist with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and medication support as per training
• Support service users in their daily routines and activities
• Promote dignity, choice, independence, and inclusion
• Follow individual care plans and organisational procedures
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
• Communicate effectively with senior staff and the wider care team

Essential Requirements

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (Minimum of 3 Core Modules)
• Minimum 6 months recent experience in the Republic of Ireland
• Previous experience working with ID clients is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different settings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Full eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland
