Healthcare Assistant – Intellectual Disability Day Service

Location: Donegal Town & Surrounding Area

Access Healthcare is currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants with Intellectual Disability (ID) experience for an exciting opportunity within a Day Service in Donegal Town.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HCA who enjoys supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred environment and is looking for consistent work with a flexible schedule.

The Opportunity

• Day Service hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00am – 4:00pm
• Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm
• Regular shifts available
• Flexible hours to suit your availability

Requirements

• QQI/FETAC Level 5 Healthcare qualification
• Previous Intellectual Disability experience – essential
• Minimum 6 weeks’ experience within the Irish healthcare system
• Fluent spoken English
• Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
• Located in or able to travel to Donegal Town
• A genuine interest in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred environment

Rates of Pay

€14.50 – €20.00 per hour day rate

Enhanced Sunday and other premium rates may also be available.
