The Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play an important role in providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting patients and residents across a variety of healthcare environments.

Your responsibilities may include

• Providing assistance with personal and daily care
• Supporting patients with mobility and comfort
• Promoting dignity, independence and respect
• Working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals
• Monitoring and communicating patients’ needs
• Helping to maintain a safe and supportive care environment

What We’re Looking For

• QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification (Care Skills & Care of the Elderly)
• Minimum 6 weeks’ experience in the Irish healthcare system
• Fluent spoken English
• Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
• Based in or able to travel to East Cork and surrounding areas

Rates of Pay

• €15–€18 per hour – Day rate
• Enhanced rates available for Nights & Sundays
