Heavy Plant Fitter.

The salary ranges from €36,605 to €40,000 per Annum based on a 39-hour per week. Salary may be more based on experience and will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.

About the Role

Experienced Heavy Plant Fitters required to manage and maintain a variety of machinery ranging from Excavators, Front End Loaders, Crushers, Screeners. This is an independent role, suited to a self-sufficient fitter capable of working on their own initiative. Key Responsibilities Maintenance, servicing and repair of heavy plant machinery Diagnostics and fault finding across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems Must have good knowledge of modern plant machinery Attend to breakdowns on site as required, minimising downtime Inspect plant equipment to ensure it is safe, compliant, and fit for use. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Health & Safety regulations Requirements Reliable and trustworthy High proficiency in spoken and written English Working Arrangement Job Type: Full-time Skills Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Heavy Plant Mechanic, or Mechanical Fitter Good working knowledge of hydraulics, engines, transmissions, and electrics Strong organisational skills and attention to detail High level of safety awareness
