Industrial Cleaner.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Industrial Cleaner to join our team in Midleton, Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of industrial facilities, equipment, and work areas to the highest standards. You will play a critical part in ensuring our workplace meets health, safety, and operational requirements while supporting our organization's commitment to a clean and safe environment.

• Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of industrial equipment, machinery, and facility areas using specialized cleaning equipment and approved chemical solutions
• Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment, including pressure washers, steam cleaners, and other specialized machinery
• Follow established safety protocols and health regulations while handling hazardous chemicals and materials
• Inspect work areas and equipment to identify cleaning needs and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors
• Organize and manage cleaning supplies and materials, ensuring proper storage and inventory levels
• Adhere to all environmental and occupational safety standards, including proper disposal of waste materials
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance as required
• Work efficiently to meet cleaning schedules and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
• Wear and properly utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout work shifts
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate cleaning activities and minimize operational disruptions

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial cleaning or facility maintenance
• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment operation and maintenance
• Familiarity with chemical handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and hazardous material protocols
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and occupational standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable time management and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using cleaning chemicals and understanding proper dilution and application methods
• Valid OSHA certification or equivalent safety training (preferred)
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions clearly
• Strong commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
