International Tax Director (Corporate Tax) Following sustained double-digit growth within the corporate tax practice, my client is seeking an ambitious, high-performing International Tax Director to join our leadership team in Dublin. This is a strategic, client-facing appointment designed for a senior professional who is ready to step into a Partner role within the next 24 to 36 months. Operating within the Top tier firm, this position offers the agility and entrepreneurial environment of a mid-market leader combined with a global network that handles premier inbound FDI and cross-border M&A mandates. Key Responsibilities Cross-Border Structuring: Lead the delivery of complex international corporate tax advisory projects, including global restructurings, intellectual property (IP) planning, inbound investment strategies, and supply chain optimization. M&A & Transactions: Oversee tax due diligence, deal structuring, and post-acquisition integration for mid-market and large-scale international transactions. International Legislation: Provide expert guidance on evolving international tax frameworks, specifically focusing on Pillar Two implementation, ATAD, and OECD BEPS developments. Team Mentorship: Direct, mentor, and upscale a high-performing team of Tax Managers and Consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative success. Operational Management: Oversee the commercial performance of your business unit, including budgeting, billing efficiency, and resource utilization. Candidate Profile: Experience & Qualifications Professional Credentials: Fully qualified Tax Advisor (CTA) and/or Chartered Accountant (ACA / FCA). Proven Track Record: Minimum 7+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) specializing in Corporate and International Tax within a Top practice environment or a highly complex in-house MNC function.
