Junior Resident Engineer.

Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm, is seeking a Junior Resident Engineer to join their site supervision team on an infrastructure project in Cork. You will work on behalf of the Employer's Representative to make sure works are built to the Employer's Requirements and that the contractor meets all obligations. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of site experience on civil engineering works and want to develop toward a full Resident Engineer role.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise civil and structural construction works on site and carry out the related administration.Monitor, measure, inspect and report on works against the Employer's Requirements.Implement instructions from the Employer's Representative, design team, client and local authority.Assist the Employer's Representative and Resident Engineer on technical and contractual matters.Prepare regular site progress reports on quality and programme with the wider resident team.Monitor the contractor's compliance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 and related legislation.Review method statements and contractor engineering proposals for compliance with the Works Requirements.Record site diaries, photographs, measurements and materials testing results.Attend site meetings and liaise with the contractor, stakeholders and members of the public.RequirementsLevel 8 degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.Minimum 2 years site experience on civil engineering or infrastructure works.Working knowledge of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.Clear report writing and record keeping.Full driving licence.Eligibility to work in Ireland.Why Apply with Sonas?Expertise: Specialists in Engineering and Technical talent solutionsMarket Insights: Access to the best salaries, rates and benefits on offerDirect Connections: We ensure your CV gets noticed by the right hiring managersSeamless Process: One point of contact for applications, interviews and negotiationsFor more information or to apply directly email [email protected] or apply directly on Indeed.SONCATA
