Kilsaran Precast is high-performance, bespoke business that offers a full-service solution from building design and manufacture through to installation, the fully automated state-of-the-art plants located in Kildare and Galway are not constrained by static moulds and are completely BIM orientated.

We are seeking a Steel Machine Operator to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the MMR straightening and cutting machine.
• Load wire coils and monitor production output.
• Change wire diameters and machine settings to meet production requirements.
• Check wire length, straightness, and product quality against specifications.
• Resolve minor machine faults and report defects or breakdowns.
• Complete production records and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety protocols.

Skills Required

• Experience operating automated manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to read and follow production instructions.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Basic mechanical and fault-finding ability.
• Competent in using measuring equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
• Experience operating cranes
