Mechanical Design Engineer

Our Client is currently looking for a Design Engineer to join their organisation. The role is based in Meath and will be perfect for you if you want to continue your engineering career with a long-established, successful company.

Responsibilities will include

Design plans in coordination with clients’ needs and specifications.

Translate concept designs from sales drawings into drawings suitable for manufacture.

Design large components and assemblies using CREO.

Manage various engineering projects in terms of specifications, planning, deployment and close out.

Required Skills

Relevant third level qualification/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.

CREO/Solid works experience desirable. Autocad an advantage.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills.

A proven track record of delivering projects to tight deadlines.
