  • Analyse trial and production data and use findings to optimise processes prior to full production.
  • Work closely with Quality to ensure new products and processes meet required regulatory and quality standards.
  • Support technical reviews, engineering changes and customer requirements throughout the NPI process.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and external technical partners where required.
  • Provide engineering support during initial production and resolve issues arising during product transfer and scale-up.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Design or a related engineering discipline.

  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances.
  • Good 3D CAD capability, ideally SolidWorks or equivalent.
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience producing engineering and manufacturing documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively across engineering, manufacturing and quality functions.
  • Strong organisation and project coordination skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of DFM and DFA.
  • Process development, qualification and validation experience.
  • Experience with CNC machining, precision assembly or automated manufacturing processes.
  • Experience supporting products from prototype through pilot production and into serial manufacture.
