Occupational Therapist – Adult Primary Care.

Medforce Recruitment are inviting applications for a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join the Primary Care Team covering North Roscommon and North East Galway. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, evidence-based care to adults in the community.

Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adult clients in a community and primary care setting. Develop and implement individualised care plans to promote independence and functional ability. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, nurses, social workers, and speech and language therapists. Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and case reviews. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with HSE guidelines.

Essential Requirements for the Occupational Therapist

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification recognised by CORU). CORU registration (or evidence of application). Experience working with adult caseloads in community or primary care settings is desirable. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Full driver’s licence and access to own transport.
