Payroll Manager.

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their growing team and take ownership of payroll operations across a diverse client portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys managing end-to-end payroll processes while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and client service. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and driving continuous improvements across payroll functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients.
• Ensure payroll compliance with Irish Revenue regulations, employment legislation, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries, providing expert guidance and resolving issues efficiently.
• Oversee payroll reconciliations, reporting, process improvements, and the maintenance of payroll systems and procedures.

Requirements

• IPASS qualification or equivalent is desirable.
• Minimum 4 years’ payroll experience, ideally within a payroll bureau, accountancy practice, or multi-client environment.
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, PAYE Modernisation, and Revenue compliance requirements.
• Experience using payroll software, with Sage Payroll experience advantageous.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
