Person in Charge (Clinical Nurse Manager).

The Role

Hartley People Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading care provider to recruit a Person in Charge (Clinical Nurse Manager) for an exciting new nurse-led physical and sensory disability service based in Rosslare, Co. Wexford.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse and healthcare leader to take on a key management position within a growing organisation and play an integral role in shaping and developing a new service.

As Person in Charge, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and clinical leadership of the service, ensuring individuals receive the highest standards of person-centred care and support.

You will lead and develop the care team, oversee individualised care planning and drive a positive, supportive culture within the service, while ensuring full compliance with HIQA Standards, Department of Health Regulations and HSE policy.

The Person

The successful candidate will be a confident and compassionate Registered Nurse with strong leadership experience and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional standards of care.

You will require

• A relevant Nursing degree at Level 7 or above.
• Current and valid NMBI registration.
• A minimum of 3 years’ management or supervisory experience within health or social care.
• Previous experience supporting individuals with physical and/or sensory disabilities would be highly advantageous.
• A Level 6 Management qualification, or willingness to complete this with company support.
• A proven track record of managing a service in line with quality, regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.
• A full current driving licence, eligibility to drive in Ireland and access to a vehicle.
