Planner (MEP).

A leading engineering company based in Mullingar is keen to hire an MEP Planner to join their growing team on a permanent basis. Working across Data Centre, Life Sciences, Industrial and large Commercial projects, you will be responsible for the planning and control of fire protection projects from design and off-site fabrication through to site installation, working closely with Project Engineers, Technical Design Leads and main contractor planners. Candidates with an MEP or Building Services planning background are well suited to this role.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop baseline programmes for tenders and live projects.Line up design, buying, workshop fabrication and deliveries to meet site dates.Keep project programmes in step with main contractor and other trades' programmes.Produce short-term look-ahead programmes for site teams.Update and report project progress weekly and monthly.Track labour and resource levels across multiple projects.Identify delays early, measure their effect and support extension of time claims.Attend progress meetings with clients and main contractors.Communicate programme status to project teams and senior management.RequirementsMinimum 3 years' experience as a Planner on MEP or construction projects.Preferred experience on Fire and Sprinkler system projects.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
