PMO Analyst (Semi State).

Our client, a Semi-State Organisation in the energy sector, is offering a competitive day rate for a PMO Analyst to join a customer-focused project team in Leopardstown, Dublin 18. This is an 18-month contract starting in December 2026. The project will redesign how large demand customers apply for new or increased connections to the electricity distribution system. You will support the team with planning, governance, reporting and risk management. Knowledge of the electricity sector is an advantage.Benefits & Key Terms- Competitive Day Rate- Hybrid Working- 18-Month Contract- Start Date December 2026 Key Responsibilities- Help deliver the customer project scope, objectives, deliverables and overall delivery plan.- Support the mobilisation and planning of the project's key objectives.- Produce concise status reports covering progress, key decisions, risks and areas needing management attention.- Turn customer pain points and improvement opportunities into a structured action plan.- Track expected benefits and customer outcomes, such as reduced effort and improved communication.- Set up the governance structure, including project meetings, decision forums and escalation routes.- Maintain a RAID log covering risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.- Identify cross-team dependencies and support escalation and resolution.- Coordinate cross-team workshops and document team and external customer meetings. Requirements- Minimum 5 years work experience, including project management experience.- Experience working in a customer-centred environment.- Relevant qualification in project management, customer experience or a commercial or business discipline.- Strong IT skills, including project management tools, SharePoint and MS Word.- Good communication skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.- Legal permission to work in the Republic of Ireland.
