About this role
Procurement Project Specialist – (€280/Day)
- Long-term day-rate contract with high likelihood of extension
- Hybrid working – 2 days on-site
- Join a €30M national fibre infrastructure programme
- Challenge the norm. Find better ways. Deliver value.
The brief tells you what’s needed. Your expertise helps determine the best way to get it. You’ll question assumptions, challenge the obvious options and look for smarter sourcing approaches that deliver the right capability and stronger commercial value.
You’ll put that thinking to work on a €30M national fibre programme connecting Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Cork, Wexford and New Ross. Across third-party duct access, civils, fibre deployment and specialist services, you’ll face different supplier markets and commercial challenges — with scope to influence how each requirement is sourced.
Working with Project, Engineering and Commercial teams, you’ll shape sourcing strategies, test alternatives, assess supplier proposals and negotiate agreements. You’ll balance cost, capability and delivery needs to recommend options that stand up commercially.
This is an opportunity to put your experience to work beyond the standard procurement playbook — influencing supplier decisions, uncovering opportunities and turning your commercial judgement into outcomes the project can act on.
