Location: Galway City Pay Rate: €28-€36 per hour + enhanced night rates + premium Sunday rates

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to support individuals experiencing mental health challenges across a range of healthcare settings.

This opportunity is ideal for a nurse with experience in mental health services who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting patients’ mental health, promoting recovery, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Role Requirements

• Current NMBI registration
• Previous nursing experience in an Irish healthcare setting
• Experience in psychiatric nursing or mental health services
• Knowledge of mental health assessments and care planning
• Ability to provide person-centred, recovery-focused care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• A compassionate, patient and professional approach
