Access Healthcare is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse to join our team in County Roscommon. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within an acute setting, in one of Ireland’s best hospitals. The ideal Psychiatric Nurse will have experience in similar settings and have the ability to collaborate with team members. The facility is based in Roscommon town. The main duty of the Psychiatric Nurse will be to use their experience and expertise to offer service users support, and provide the best care and guidance possible.

Hours

Days: 08:00-20:00

Nights: 20:00-08:00

Rates

Base: 30.00-50.00 per hour – subject to experience and trainings.

Nights/Sundays/Bank Holidays: premium rates

As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will

• Assess patients’ mental health status
• Develop and implement care plans
• Administer and monitor psychiatric medications
• Educate and support patients and families

What we’re looking for in a Psychiatric Nurse

• Bachelors Degree in Psyche Nursing
• Practical Trainings – CPR/First Aid/Patient Moving and Handling, PMAV/TCI/MAPA/StudioIII
• Up-To-Date HSELand Certificates
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
