R&D Tax Credit Manager or Senior Manager – Top 8 Practice Due to double-digit growth within our Innovation & Incentives team, a Top 8 Global Practice is seeking an ambitious R&D Tax professional. This isn't just a "delivery" role—you will be a key architect in scaling one of the firm’s fastest-growing service lines. You will lead end-to-end R&D tax credit claims for a high-calibre portfolio, bridging the gap between complex technical innovation and financial tax strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Engagement Leadership: Manage the end-to-end delivery of R&D tax credit claims for a diverse client base, from disruptive tech startups to multinational PLCs.
• Technical Discovery: Lead technical interviews with client engineers, scientists, and software developers to extract and identify qualifying R&D activities.
• Strategic Documentation: Review and refine high-quality technical narratives to ensure they are robust and fully aligned with Irish Revenue guidelines.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee complex calculations of eligible expenditure (payroll, contractors, consumables, and plant/machinery).
• Audit Defense: Act as the lead consultant in supporting clients through Revenue queries, audits, and risk reviews.
• Growth & Mentorship: Support the growth of the Incentives service line and mentor junior staff on technical and financial best practices.

Candidate Profile

• 4–7 years’ experience preparing or managing R&D tax credit claims within Ireland.
• Strong knowledge of Irish R&D tax legislation and Revenue practice.
• Experience in a professional services/advisory environment.
