About this role

Regional Practice Director

My client is transforming primary care in Ireland by building a network of high-performing, community-based GP practices focused on prevention, early intervention and chronic disease management.

We are seeking an experienced and driven leader for their practices in the South West, with clusters centred on Limerick and Cork with expanding services across Munster.

The role will involve day-to-day practice operations, the integration of newly acquired practices and the performance of the region as a whole. The successful candidate will have budgetary responsibility, line-manage responsibilities across the region and act as the single point of accountability for our client on the ground.

The successful candidate will be based across the practices with the teams and the GPs weekly, establishing a fixed pattern of attendance in the region. Flexibility is key to the success of this role.

The successful candidate will bring

  • Operations leadership experience across multi-site locations in healthcare, preferably GP practices.
  • Previous staff management experience.
  • Strong budgetary management experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in working autonomously.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the South West, with a full clean driving licence and a genuine appetite for time on the road
  • Experience of acquisitions and the integration of newly acquired sites, including staff transfers desireable.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a high-calibre operations professional to take on a visible leadership role within a progressive and expanding healthcare organisation.
