Rigid Driver.

We are currently recruiting experienced Rigid Drivers (Category C Licence) for our clients based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company offering stable work, competitive pay, and long-term career prospects. Permanent and Temporary Positions available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries across Dublin and surrounding areas while maintaining a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a rigid truck in accordance with road traffic legislation and company procedures.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections across assigned routes.
• Ensure goods are delivered accurately, safely, and on time.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Maintain compliance with Driver Hours Regulations and Tachograph requirements.
• Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic documentation accurately.

Requirements

• Full Clean Category C Driving Licence .
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card .
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card .
• Previous experience as a Rigid Driver, preferably within a multi-drop environment.
• Good knowledge of Dublin roads and surrounding areas.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A strong commitment to road safety and compliance.

Day-to-Day Duties

• Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections.
• Follow planned delivery routes and schedules.
• Deliver goods efficiently to customers across multiple locations.
• Secure loads correctly and ensure safe transportation of goods.
• Obtain proof of delivery and complete all relevant documentation.
• Report delays, incidents, or vehicle issues to the transport office.
