A leading organisation in the insurance sector is embarking on an exciting transformation, rebuilding core platforms and capabilities from the ground up while moving away from legacy technology.

As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape where AI fits into that journey — identifying opportunities, challenging conventional thinking and turning emerging technology into something the business can genuinely use.

You’ll act as an AI evangelist and trusted technical voice, helping teams understand what’s possible, where AI can add genuine value, and how to turn that potential into practical solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Shape and drive AI initiatives from concept through to delivery, working across technology, data and business teams.
• Act as a trusted AI evangelist, educating stakeholders and challenging assumptions around what AI can achieve.
• Help define the organisation’s approach to AI adoption, experimentation and implementation.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and approaches, separating genuine opportunities from hype.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience across AI, machine learning, data science or AI engineering, with the technical depth to understand modern AI capabilities.
• Experience shaping and driving AI initiatives, rather than purely delivering within an established roadmap.
• Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business opportunities and actionable strategies.
• A genuine AI evangelist who keeps ahead of the technology landscape and understands where AI can create real value.
