As a Senior Clinical Data Manager within ICON Strategic Solutions, you will be dedicated to a global pharmaceutical client and act as a trusted Data Management leader within their study teams. Working within our client-dedicated model, you will provide strategic oversight across complex clinical trials, drive inspection-ready data quality, and mentor colleagues while contributing to the advancement of life-changing treatments for patients worldwide. This opportunity is suited to an experienced Clinical Data Management professional who can independently lead complex global studies, drive study strategy, anticipate and mitigate risks, influence stakeholders, and mentor colleagues through study start-up, conduct, database lock, and close-out.
What You Will Be Doing
Serve as the primary Data Management lead for complex global studies and drive delivery from start-up through database lock and close-out. Set the study Data Management approach, lead cross-functional data review and proactively manage risks, issues and escalation pathways. Oversee complex external data reconciliation and vendor performance across eCOA, PK, biomarker, local laboratory, safety and other study data. Author, review and provide subject matter expertise for key Data Management documentation, EDC UAT and data validation activities. Drive database lock readiness, protocol deviation and SAE reconciliation, quality metrics and inspection preparedness. Act as a Data Management subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentoring to supporting FSP colleagues.
You will have/be
Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences related discipline. 7+ years of Clinical Data Management experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment. Proven experience as the primary Data Management lead for complex global clinical studies. Strong expertise in EDC review, complex external data reconciliation, vendor oversight, study documentation and database lock. Demonstrated stakeholder leadership, proactive risk management and mentoring experience. Veeva EDC experience is desirable but not essential. #LI-RD1 Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
