Site Technician – Dublin based.

Our client based in Dublin is seeking a Site Technician to join their team. Working closely with the Regional Sales Team, the Site Technician will oversee site installation monitoring across all company systems within the designated region. The role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, ensuring guarantee liabilities are protected, and upholding the company’s reputation for quality, service, and trust. The Site Technician will play a key role in developing strong relationships with an approved contractor network, delivering hands-on training to contractor operatives, and promoting effective collaboration to support current projects and future business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out site inspections across multiple projects within the designated region. Monitor installations to ensure compliance with system specifications and quality standards. Complete detailed inspection and site visit reports accurately and promptly. Deliver high-quality, practical training to Approved Contractor Operatives. Act as an intermediary between internal teams and contractors to help resolve on-site issues. Track projects and manage time effectively to maximise efficiency and regional coverage. Liaise with sales teams and internal departments to ensure complex or high-value projects are appropriately managed. Maintain regular communication with all relevant stakeholders to ensure site-related issues are identified and resolved efficiently.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Proven, hands-on experience in the installation of flat roofing systems, particularly Bitumen and Single Ply. Strong understanding of the construction industry from both technical and commercial perspectives. Experience delivering training, ideally in a construction or technical environment. Train the Trainer qualification (desirable). Strong health and safety awareness (CSCS Card preferred). Professional, approachable, and confident personality with the ability to build strong working relationships. Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and driven approach to work. Intermediate computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office. Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
