About this role
Our client is a large Construction Contractor who is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Storeman for a project in Co Limerick
This role will require an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming electrical materials and deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and stock records
- Organize and store materials in a safe and accessible manner
- Issue materials to electricians and site personnel as required
- Monitor stock usage and report shortages or discrepancies
- Assist with ordering and liaising with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Keep the store area clean, tidy, and well-organized
Requirements
- Previous experience in a storeman, warehouse, or similar role
- Basic knowledge of electrical materials (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Manual handling certification & Safepass (Essential)
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Forklift licence
- IPAF
- Experience in construction or industrial environments
