This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in a high-impact, greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing project with Astellas, a global pharmaceutical organisation headquartered in Japan, operating across international markets and employing more than 14,000 people worldwide.

At the moment they are building a new fully integrated site, the site represents a major investment in advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing. With Phase 1 progressing through qualification and Phase 2 now advancing to include a second filling line, the project is entering an exciting stage of expansion.

The facility brings together next-generation manufacturing equipment, process automation, utilities, bulk transfer systems and quality control infrastructure within a fully integrated environment.

As an DeltaV Systems Integration Engineer, you’ll strengthen the existing automation team, helping shape how equipment and control systems communicate, integrate and perform across the wider facility.

This is not a documentation-led position. It’s an opportunity for a technically hands-on engineer to drive integration, solve complex engineering challenges and deliver solutions that have a direct impact on manufacturing readiness.

What You’ll Do

• Integrate equipment and automation systems using DeltaV and other control platforms.
• Configure, troubleshoot and implement hands-on automation solutions.
• Support commissioning, testing and qualification in a regulated GxP environment.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with DeltaV, ABB 800xA or comparable DCS platforms.
• Vendor-side, OEM or machine-builder experience in programming, installation and commissioning.
• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences environments.
