Tax Accountant | Dublin | Investment Firm HireForce is exclusively partnering with a leading international investment management firm to recruit a Tax Accountant for its Dublin-based finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified tax professional or assistant manager looking to make their first move from practice into industry and gain broad exposure within a highly regarded international organisation. This newly created role and is considerably broader than a traditional tax compliance position. Working closely with senior members of the Tax and Finance teams, the successful candidate will gain exposure across corporate tax, VAT, tax reporting, financial reporting, transactions and wider commercial projects. This is a particularly attractive opportunity for someone who wants to move into industry without becoming pigeonholed into a narrow tax role. You'll gain exposure to both tax and the wider finance function within a sophisticated international business. The Role

Responsibilities will include

• Supporting corporate tax and VAT compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Preparing quarterly and year-end current and deferred tax provisions
• Working with finance teams on tax reporting, reconciliations and financial information
• Preparing and reviewing tax computations and returns
• Supporting cash tax forecasting and tax payments
• Liaising with external tax advisers and tax authorities
• Assisting with tax matters arising from transactions and investments
• Supporting senior stakeholders on a range of tax and finance-related projects
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting

Requirements

• Are ACA, ACCA and/or CTA (0-2 PQE)
• Have trained within a Big 4 or Top 8 accountancy firm
• Have a strong grounding in corporate tax
• Would like to make their first move from practice into industry
• Are commercially minded and keen to broaden their experience beyond pure tax
