Technical Services Lead.

Location: Eli Lilly, Kinsale, Co. Cork Salary: €70,000 - €75,000 per annum Contract: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract (6 months) Are you an experienced technical services professional with a strong background in Hard Facilities Management and engineering maintenance? Sodexo is looking for a Technical Services Lead to oversee the delivery of technical services at our Eli Lilly site in Kinsale. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled leader to manage a team, drive operational excellence, ensure compliance and deliver a safe, efficient and customer-focused maintenance service within a critical environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operational and commercial management of Hard FM services, including engineering maintenance, contractors and site operations. Manage and develop the technical services team, supporting performance, training, wellbeing and continuous improvement. Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, helpdesk activities and technical projects. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, environmental standards and site procedures. Manage the Permit to Work system and ensure safe systems of work are implemented and maintained. Monitor and achieve agreed KPIs and SLAs, ensuring consistent service delivery and customer satisfaction. Manage contract costs effectively, identify opportunities for improvement and maximise operational efficiency. Support energy management initiatives, asset management and innovative technical solutions. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring technical issues. Coordinate contractors, suppliers and specialist service providers to ensure work is completed safely and to the required standards. What We Are Looking For: A degree in Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification, ideally BIFM Level 5 or similar. Experience in building services, plant engineering and technical maintenance. Previous experience managing a maintenance or technical services team and delivering against SLAs. Experience working in a critical environment, ideally within pharmaceutical, FMCG or manufacturing. Knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk assessments, COSHH and water hygiene regulations. Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Maximo, CMMS or equivalent maintenance management systems. Excellent communication, organisational and people management skills. Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage costs and drive service improvements.
