Role: Transport Manager (Night Shift)

Location: Dublin North

Type: Permanent, full-time, Wed-Sun 20:00-06:00 Hrs

Package: €50-56k + Shift Allowance + Bonus + Pension

Long-established FMCG distribution company now require an experienced Transport Manager for the night shift working Wed-Sun 20:00-06:00 Hrs. Reporting to the Transport Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of transport operations, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction and team delivery.

Key Responsibilities;

• Maintaining a safe and friendly working environment for approx 25 employees, agencies and subcontractors
• Own the recruitment, induction, absence management, well-being meetings and 1:1 process, including disciplinaries, grievances and investigations.
• Ensuring effective communication within the transport teams through meetings and briefings.
• Responsible for the delivery of operational KPIs, maintaining and improving performance levels to maximise the efficiency of the operation in line with service delivery targets.
• In addition, you will support the transport operations managers and team with any additional tasks as and when required.

Minimum Requirements;

• Proven transport supervisory or managerial experience, ideally within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Strong knowledge of transport rules, regulations, compliance and systems.
• Excellent communicator able to build excellent working relationships.
• A natural problem solver with an analytical mindset.
• A passion for encouraging teamwork, focusing on creating a diverse and innovative culture where employees feel empowered and engaged.
• Previous experience of working in a trade unionised environment is desirable as is CPC Management certification
