An established accountancy practice in Waterford is seeking a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant to join their team.

The ideal candidate must have previous accountancy practice experience and be comfortable managing a varied portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Preparing accounts and financial statements
• Preparing tax returns and handling compliance requirements
• Assisting clients with accounting and tax queries
• Building strong client relationships
• Managing deadlines across multiple assignments
• Working closely with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service

Requirements

• Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
• Previous accountancy practice experience is essential
• Good knowledge of accounting and taxation
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Client-focused and professional approach
